I did the deal yesterday with price match and received the $5 gift card. I’ve done it once before in the past when the gift card was offered and not a problem. Maybe it is store to store/cashier to cashier, but no problems for me to get the full $6 mm.
Thanks for sharing, Julia. I think it does depend on the cashier. 🙂
I did this deal before it was edited without the prime matching and it worked out flawlessly. Did the price match, got the coupon applied and got the $5 GC, as well as the ibotta ($4). :). Their policy doesnt say anything about the promo not aplicable when there’s a price matching (that I saw). I argued this point and it worked out well. Hope this helps someone..
Thanks Sidney. I appreciate your tip. 🙂
They said you can not use price mach and get $5gc
Ah! Darn. Okay. I’ll update the breakdown for Calendula. I know you can’t use Cartwheel or Target coupon when price matching. I didn’t realize you can’t get gift card promotions too. 🙁 Thanks for the headsup. It’s still Free even without the price match
I’ve tried to do similar deals using Price Match, and while you can use the Manu. Coupon, they won’t generate the gift card, so the OOP is $2.59 and you get the ibotta $4 rebate, but I wouldn’t include the extra gift card in the outcome since it’s unlikely to happen.
Gotcha! Thanks for the headsup Tom. I’ve updated the post without price matching. Still a moneymaker.
How can I use Ibotta? I downloaded, and I’m stuck afterward lol
Hi Kristen. You can search the app for which offers are available at different stores. Then you purchase those items in the store, and upload your receipt to the app. You can have the money transferred to your paypal account or converted into gift cards. Hope that helps get you started. 🙂
Cartwheel offers and Target coupons cannot be combined with price match. Manufacturer coupons will be applied after a price match is made per Target’s coupon policy.https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence
Thanks for sharing, Car. Luckily we’re only using a manufacturer coupon here. 🙂
I got lucky twice to get this deal free with $3.41 mm instead of $1.41mm. I used both $5 coupon with $2 peelie and $4 ibotta rebate. but on the third time, i got it for $1.41mm because the cashier noticed that i can only use either $5 off or the $2 off coupon. Still a good deal. 🙂
You’re not suppose to use two manufacturer’s coupon for 1 item. That’s considered fraud.
I just went on the website to get the coupon and it still works. Not expired!
Coupon still works for me as well. Thanks for the tip, Delaney. 🙂
I think the coupon went to $2 because when I get the coupon it is only $2 now.
Thanks for the heads up Denise! I have expired the post.
Went into my local Target store and was not able to do this deal. They said I could not use coupon on price match. I called 3 other Target locations and they said the same thing. You can only use one or the other, not both.
Hi Carlos. Target’s price match policy says that you CAN use a manufacturer coupon with a price match. It’s always a good idea to keep the stores’ coupon policies handy so you can show them in cases like this. Hope that helps. 🙂
Same here. They have a new policy.:(
You are able to use the Manufacturer’s Q when price matching. It’s the target coupon and cartwheel only where you can’t combine with price match. It’s in their new policy.
