Hello! I just uploaded a video on How to Organize Coupons – one of the most common questions I get asked. While there are several popular Coupon Organization Methods out there, my favorite organization method is the Whole Insert Filing Method. 🙂 I like how little time it takes up front to get organized. It literally takes me 5 minutes a week to pull inserts and get them organized.

Additionally, I also introduce my “Pencil Case Method” in the second half of the video – how I personally store loose coupons before I go on a coupon trip.

There are no wrong answers for what method you choose. The trade off has to do with how much time you spend upfront, vs, how easy it will be to access the coupons when you need them. I used keep whole insert sheets in a binder, but that became too complex (when I got inserts from multiple papers and all the pages differs) and time consuming.

I will be doing more videos on the other two methods in the future. For now, here’s my answer to “How do you organize your coupons?” hehe… Enjoy!

Hi Tina, kinda cool to know you do a lot of the same things I do since anything I know I learned from you and your site! Haha. I do think filing the whole insert is a huge time saver than clipping all the coupons and probably throwing most of them away. However I am curious if that is your method, who logs the coupons into your coupon database? Sorry if that’s a dumb question! I’ve been trying to think of an efficient way to log the coupons I might use somewhere so I can easily look them up as needed. Thanks in advance!!
