PEOPLE. Look at the link! It’s a joke by Nabisco themselves. “Angry at us for suggesting you top Triscuit all these years?” In other words, “Don’t you think it’s silly that we’re telling you to put cheese and dip on these crackers?” and implying “We know that you think the crackers taste GREAT on their own.” “LIKE us to tell us how mad you are and to see if we have a free* box for you.” You have to like their page before you can say anything, so they are getting good PR even if you do complain. First point leading towards this being a JOKING and humorous marketing campaign and give-away. Secondly, they are using SARCASM to point out how GOOD their product is without adding other food items to it such as cheese, cream cheese, meat, dip, etc. They want you to tell them why you didn’t like adding things to the cracker because it’s just so darn good tasting on it’s own. Number 2 towards the market campaign point. The name of the promotion is called Topper’s Tantrum. Really? You guys think that is a SERIOUS complaint board? The whole thing is a campaign to make Triscuits even more marketable on their own and to give consumers who enjoy them the chance to joke around, be sarcastic, yet endorse a product they love at the same time. If you still don’t think I have a real point here, even better! Watch NABISCO’S VERY OWN YOUTUBE VIDEO PROMOTING THAT YOU “COMPLAIN” TO THEM FOR A FREE BOX OF FOOD.

If the video doesn’t speak for itself, then I don’t know WHAT on this green earth could get your sense of humor out of your butt.

Do some research into the promotion itself before accusing this fine lady (who has practically NEVER failed us before in providing amazing freebie deals), of endorsing that people steal and scam a company.

So lie to get free triscuits? As others have already said, you are promoting it and making sure everyone knows what to do to get free triscuits. So, though the company is offering the free offer to actual customers who are upset, you are compliant in promoting it and letting people know to do it to get something for free. The company is doing the right thing by offering this, however promoting it to EVERYONE to know about to file fake claims is not. Legitimate free stuff is fine, however this one, no matter how you phrase it and say the company is offering it, stinks of ripping off the company and doing something that is really low.
