I called consumer help line at CVS because I was dealing with same situation even on coupons from the inserts. I asked that it be reported to my stores district Mgr and requested a call back from that person. He did in fact call me back and stated that the managers should have looked at the coupons, matched it all back to the item and if it matched..push it through. Their object should be to take care of the customer. He talked with the store mgr and she did in fact say he called her. I purchased a new printer at Christmas and started buying better ink and have been having no bad experiences with my printed coupons. My motto is be persistent ..

another question tina , If i click on the link of the coupon and it take me to the printalble coupon page but the coupon is not there , does it mean that it’s not available any more?

    4. -2

Hello Tina, what does “(RP 3/5, x3/18)” mean, on the toothpaste deal in CVS?

      • -2.1

Hi Heba. This tells you where the coupon came from and when it expires. So this coupon came in the Red Plum coupon insert that came with the March 5th Sunday paper and it expires on March 18th. 🙂

    5. -3

Hi Tina. I’m having problems with some of my coupons not scanning at CVS no problems with Target at this point. Cashiers are not being allowed to push any coupons through. I’ve even tried picking up items that are an identical match to the picture on the coupon and that didn’t work either. If the coupon beeped, it was a no go. I’m becoming a bit discouraged with couponing at this point. I know there’s been stories on the news about coupon fraud and I think it’s giving honest couponers a bad rep.

      • -3.1

Hi Athena. Stores seem to be a lot more careful these days with coupons and I believe it is because of all the coupon fraud that goes on. Sometimes for one reason or another coupons just don’t scan. Don’t get discouraged, it happens to all of us. 🙂

      • -3.2

If the CVS redbox coupons are not scanning I usually call the 1800 number and tell them which coupons didn’t go through and from there they usually give me extra bucks to make up for the CVS coupons that didn’t go through. Hope this helps! I know a lot of the CVS’ in my town have told me they can’t push the CBS coupons through and to contact the 1800 number. Usually the extra bucks get posted the next day.

      • -3.3

Yes, It’s happen to all of us like Tina said. For me, scanning problem happens actually 40% of the chance. But, I kind of made know each other with store clerk (CVS is my sore) so if something happen there is no hurt feeling on both side. I just take the items back or call to 800 number and fix the problem later. If you do the couponing it is a part of game. That what I understand. They even open up another cashier when I show up on the line. haha…….

    6. -4

Thanks Tina for your videos! Watch them every week!

Target has become my least favorite place to shop because of the way I was treated on Saturday in regards to 4 printed coupons valued at a $1.00 each. Don’t mind policy changes but I don’t care for being treated like I just robbed a bank over 4 printed coupons! Yes, I called the corporate office with all the information in regards to the incident and names of those involved!!!
