Head’s up couponers! If you received the April P&G insert, rumor has it that the tide coupons are NOT scanning at several stores! We’ve heard Target, Dollar General, Rite Aid and other stores have been giving shoppers a hard time. In fact, check out this sign we saw posted at our local CVS in the picture above. The coupon does fit the size requirements but is not scanning properly. Let me know if you had this issue, or if the coupon worked for you at a certain store so we can keep everyone updated!
Coupons have not been scanning at the following stores:
- Target
- Dollar General
- Rite Aid
- CVS

I tried at Walmart and they scanned perfectly, however after the coupon scanned, the cashier looked at the coupon and said that the coupon isn’t valid for the smaller pod bag. I said back to her that it was scanned without any problem, but she was like we can’t take it so she voided the $3 coupon. 🙁
Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that. You would think she would take it since it scanned without any problems. Do you have another store in your area that you could try?
Yes. That was what I did this morning. I went to another walmart and did the same tide deal and they took the coupon 🙂 . Also, I found that Tide in facebook have verified that the $3 tide coupon has no size limitation on Tide pod. You can check that out in Tide facebook page.

It didn’t scan at my CVS but they accepted it. I told him it was in their ad.

Hi Ruth. You could ask them to honor it, but sometimes they will say it is a misprint in the flyer. Hope you can get it. 🙂

Interesting…Dollar General has the same digital coupon and the same requirements. At first the manager tried to tell me that the coupon did not apply to the Gain and Tide pods due to the size. But the size requirement is only for Dreft Blissfuls because Tide and Gain pods do not in that ounce size. I explained to the dollar general manager and the coupon took off and I walked away with paying .95 cents before taxes. Try Dollar General. If not sign up for the digital coupon and use the $3.00 off that way. Hope this helps some!
