This container is AMAZING! One of my favorite products. I use this to store washed strawberries and I swear they stay longer. I wash strawberries right after buying with Apple Cider Vinegar and keep them in this. 🙂
Hmmm… This is not a disposable container so it does not qualify for the gift card offer. You should already be aware of this and check before posting a deal. If you look in the app OR on target.com these do not come up as qualifying for the gift card promotion.
Hey Leanne, the food storage containers don’t have to be disposable to qualify for this deal. Many containers are included. I did do this deal on Sunday and just rechecked my receipt. The FreshWorks did not trigger the gift card, but they did take $5 off. I have updated the post. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
The mobile coupon specifically says disposable tableware & storage. You need to look the product up before posting that it qualifies for a deal. Under each product it will say if it qualifies for the coupon. You can’t just tell them to deduct the $5.00 if the product doesn’t qualify for the purchase to begin with. What a joke! Why do you think no other site has posted a deal like this? It was a chaotic with with 2 kids in cart and 6 Gift Card promotion where several didn’t trigger and cashier took off $5 several times. They even accidentally rung up Rubbermaid twice which had to be returned. I miss the old days where you could see clearly each gift card being triggered after they scan the item. Now, all gift cards are calculated at the end and it’s trickier to match it to the item.
We read “Food Storage” in the category coupon and assumed it wasn’t disposable food storage since the word “disposable” was not in front of “Food Storage”. And in the past, non-disposable food storage was included in the coupon. I really didn’t think twice for this deal. But now I know to triple check.
