I took your idea of the pencil pouch coupon organization method. I love it. When I’m done checking out, all the coupons should be gone, and I rarely forget to correct previous receipt issues as they are tucked inside the corresponding store’s zipper pouch. I even found a big 3 ring binder that is the same size as the pouches for storage. I keep a pen and highlighter in each one along with a little note pad for notes, tips etc. (before, during or after the shopping trip). I use the freebie note pads that come in the mail with the donation requests like salvation army, various cancer orgs., etc. Some of my more popular store pouches (CVS, Wags, Target) are wearing out. Today I found a bunch of them on clearance at Walgreen’s for THIRTY CENTS. WOW! They are the good ones with the canvas material & 2 zippers with the smaller zipper in front for my store receipts, frequent shopper card etc., not the cheapy plastics or single zipper kind. Needless to say I bought them all. Sorry Cloquet shoppers. You had Sunday through noon today to get some. I also use some for specialty & seasonal coupons. Like right now I have one for School/Office supply coupons, I also am starting one for Candy & treats for Halloween season, and I keep one for Pet food since we have pets that need to eat & pee. I cannot keep up with the standard 3-ring binder coupon method. Thanks for the great organizing tip.
