REE Tax Preperation of Low-Moderate Income Families
If you are a moderate-low income household (usually 49,000 or less) you may qualify for Free tax preperation and possibly free electronic filing. Tax Counseling and Preparation for Seniors
If you are aged 60 or older you may qualify to receive free tax preparation through the IRS-sponsored TCE Program.
Also, as part of the TCE program AARP offers the Tax-Aide counseling program at more than 7,000 sites nationwide during the filing season. Trained and certified AARP Tax-Aide volunteer counselors help people of low-to-middle income with special attention to those age 60 and older.
