I haven’t used SmartSource for coupons. I’ve tried looking into it but couldn’t figure it out. Is there an app for it? If so, how does it look like?

Hi Jenni, that coupon is in the SmartSource insert that came in the Sunday 8/5 paper. If a coupon is printable, we’ll have it linked. If you see something like (SS 8/5, x8/20) that means the coupon is found in an insert (SS=SmartSource, RP=RetailMeNot) that comes in the Sunday paper. The date is the Sunday the paper came out and x8/20 is the expiration date. Hope this helps!

Went to Target today and tried to apply this deal but because it was under the actual coupon they said they could not honor this, is there something I’m missing or is this normal? I’m new to couponing and I felt very helpless being turned away any tips on what I should do next time?

Hey Janet, most stores will adjust the coupon value down to the item being purchased. A few stores will not. While it’s in their coupon policy to allow this, each store has the right to refuse any coupon. I would suggest either trying a different store or trying again at your store with a different cashier.
