So Everytime i try to use a moneymaker coupon at walmart my coupon always beeps and according to the manager she cannot accept my coupon if it beeps “especially if it is a printable coupon” I have read the coupon policy over and it does not say anything about not accepting a coupon if it beeps. The only thing it does say is that it must have a scannable barcode. So if my coupon beeps does that mean it does not have a scannable barcode??? Also towards the end of the coupon policy it also states that store managers have the final decision on taking care of their customer. I am so confused. Is she right in this situation or is she supposed to push the coupon through?? PLEASE HELP & THANK U IN ADVANCE!! 🙂

What you experienced is one reason why people may not like couponing at Walmart. It can be very challenging.
From my experience, managers do not push thru if the coupon doesn’t scan. Sometimes, if you argue hard enough, they may, but not always.
If the coupon beeps, it means that the item doesn’t match the coupon barcode. This can happen in rare cases, even thought the wording on the coupon matches exactly. Coding mistakes in the bar code. In these cases, its up to the store manager. At other places like Target or Rite Aid, the cashier will usually push thru if the wordings match.
My advice. If it doesn’t work. Move on to the next deal. Its not worth arguing. 🙂
