Hey Ivonne, Sorry to hear you had issues at your store. Each store has the right to allow or refuse a coupon. Usually if a coupon is valued at more then the item being purchased, the overage will apply to another item you’re buying. This is why it’s best to buy a “filler” item. Something that the overage can be applied to, like maybe a candy bar or gum. If you were just buying the razors, there would be nothing for the overage to be applied to. Some stores will adjust the coupon down to the value of the item. I would suggest trying again, maybe at a different time with a different cashier and adding a few more items to your cart.

HI TINA! I was wondering, on the mft coupon for the bic $3 off 1 says “No cash or credit back if coupon value exceeds selling price” Is it still considered a money maker in reference to the first example of the disposable razors (sensitive) ?

Hi Janet! You’re right! While it says that, it does depend on how the store will handle it. Some computers will adjust the coupon down automatically. And some stores, it will apply the overage on other items in your transaction. To be conservative, just assume it’ll be Free. And if you happen to get overage, then YAY! 🙂
