Are there different restrictions in each state for this? I did this exact transaction and the extra $0.25 from the coupon just cancelled out and I ended up paying just the sales tax of$0.27 here is Los Angeles
Hi Carina. Most stores require that you pay the sales tax. I usually get a filler item to absorb the overage. Hope that makes sense. 🙂
