Hi its Jasmin from Los Angeles, CA. My favorite memory of thanksgiving is the first thanksgiving I helped prepare the food, make pie, and set the table. It was also the first Thanksgiving the whole family was present. Now married with 2 kids I am in charge of making the whole meal for every one. I make the ham, turkeys, pies, mashed potatoes, candied yams, macaroni, and the stuffing. It’s a lot of work but i love seeing everyone enjoying the meal together.
My favorite memory is just the fact I get to cook a special dinner meal for my family and extended family. While I cook, everyone just gather together and play games or chit chat. I love it when we are all together. Also, I’m reading from Dallas, TX.

My grandmother’s stuffing is my favorite memory. It was so good and I miss her so much. I’m in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
Favorite memory is when my daughter was about two and we hadn’t got invited anywhere for Thanksgiving. so I cooked my very first turkey / Thanksgiving meal. No sooner did I finish then there was a knock at my door it was my brother his family and one of my cousins and their family come over for Thanksgiving dinner. Then there was another knock at my door and it was 2 more of my cousins. Another knock my aunt and her family then another cousin and my dad. I had a house full of people in my little apartment and we ate and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company turns out none of us had anywhere to go but we all ended up together.
While nothing bad happened, it was the year my mom caught the oven on fire dropping turkey juice and trying to clean it up!! It was a Three Stooges moment!!! Davison, MI

My favorite memory of Thanksgiving is spending our family vacation at Disney World last year with 16 members. It was the best trip ever! We were able to finish so many rides with the help of planning Fast Pass and having older nieces and nephews guide the way too. Everyday, we walked around 12-15 hours. It was a lot of walking and running but those fun memories of us running and trying to beat the crowds, taking restroom breaks so frequent, and enjoying time together was just memorable. I am from Houston, Texas.
