My favorite memory of Thanksgiving was when my friend invited my family and I, to her huge Thanksgiving feast. She always enjoyed creating huge events on the holidays and talked about how many people attended. When it was my first time going to her event, I was amazed at how many friendly and outgoing people there was. She invited her whole family and all of her neighbors, which became a huge dinner. Everyone who attended brought a little something along with them to share with everyone else. It was amazing and very welcoming. Everyone got along great and it seemed as if it was a dream. My family and I enjoyed everything about it!

My favorite memory is when it snowed on thanksgiving. I had to have been around 7 or 8 years old. I’m in Texas so we don’t get much especially around thanksgiving.

One of my favorite Thanksgiving Days is a road trip we took to San Francisco to visit my sister and I was feeling a bit sick and thought it was just the long trip. We had a lot of food & drinks but alcohol made me feel nauseous and couldn’t eat my favorite cheese. Low & behold, I was pregnant for the 1st time! I didn’t find out until later, but everything made so much sense! Bellflower, CA.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is Thanksgiving 2013. It was my last Thanksgiving I spent in Hawaii with my loved ones. Nobody had to work, my mom flew in from Kauai and the whole family were there. It was a huge thanksgiving party at my brother’s house spent outside with a big screen TV playing (of course) Football! And even better my fav team (Pittsburgh Steelers) played that day and lost by a couple points But it was a good game! It was also my daughter’s very first Thanksgiving at 2 1/2 months old. We had an oven cooked turkey, a deep fried turkey, and an “imu” turkey I baked a lot of my yummy desserts and baked beans. I loved every minute of that day! Lots of laughter, convos, singing, yelling at the TV, dancing, card playing, and eating of course! I now live in Cali and not much of the family here but we are thankful we have some family still and for our extended family and friends who became family. I can’t wait until we do Thanksgiving like that again and create more memories to cherish

      Priscilla Daniels :

My favorite thanksgiving memory was when I was growing up as a child and helping my mom cook in the kitchen. We would buy everything weeks in advanced and somehow still end up the night before thanksgiving getting more ingredients that’s we needed from the store. It was always such a drag because that’s the busiest time to go. Waking up thanksgiving morning my mom in such a great mood, everyone coming over to our house (aunts, uncles, cousins, sibling etc.) and the look on my moms face when everyone complimented her cooking. The music playing, saying grace, and everyone saying what they’re thankful for at the dinner table. Beautiful memories and traditions I’ve began to share with my own children. Mmmm cake forget the homemade pumpkin rolls! My favorite.
