• Homemade Crab Dip in a Crockpot

    I love warm crab dip.  Pair it with those Pita Chips and you might not get me away from it!  This is a super easy recipe adapted from The Crock’n Girls website.

    Ingredients

      • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
      • 1/2 Cup Onion (finely chopped)
      • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (plus about 3 Tablespoons for topping)
      • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise (full fat works best but use what ya got)
      • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced finely)
      • 2 Teaspoons Sugar (do not use sugar in the raw)
      • 6 oz Can Crab Meat (drained, flaked and cartilage removed)
      • Assorted crackers, pita chips or pretzels for dipping

    Putting it together

    In a 1- to 2 quart slow cooker, combine the first six ingredients then stir in crab

    Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, or until heated well.  Sprinkle a little extra parmesan over the top and you are set!  Serve and enjoy!
