Can you roll the Catalina? I did the deal at Safeway and wanted to do it again, but wanted to know if I could use the $5 and $7 Catalina that I got from that transaction on the next transaction and still get those Catalina’s printed again.

Hi tina! I tried to do this deal today but my huggies wasn’t on sale for $7.99 it was 9.99 🙁 is this deal at all krogers or just some?

    3. -1

      Hi Tina,
I just brought the size 1 diapers deal today at Vons today. Yes, I followed the break down, but the $5 dollars catalina did not print. I only got $7.00 catalina coupon, 50 percent off on JCPenney portraits, and save $8.00 on any Enfamil coupon.

    4. -2

Went to 2 stores and both were out of size 1s 🙁

Hi Tina, can you clarify… So do i have to buy the 42ct at regular price first to get the catalina coupons then buy another 42ct to get the $0.99 deal?

    6. -4

So in the first example (purchasing size 1), you should get both Catalinas even though my total purchase is less than $20.00 after the coupons? Just wondering because I’ve had instances of Catalinas not printing and also when I did that really amazing Target diaper deal last week, they tried to tell me that because my total wasn’t $50 after coupons that I didn’t qualify for the $10 gift card from the registry, although it worked the day before. All of this is still so new to me and I’m still learning…

I just went and did the deal and it worked out fine, but with a few hiccups. Since I had a Safeway card, I was able to load a J4U $3 off $20 that was triggered when I purchased 3 of the size 1 huggies. From there, the self checkout lady started yelling at me stating that I was not able to use the 3 – $3/1 Huggies coupons. After reading that the J4U was not a coupon, but more of an offer, she let me use it all. I was already startled with her tone for the coupons, but went about my transaction. When I go to pay, she yells at me and asks me if I was going to purchase the packages of soda on the bottom. I was startled and wasn’t thinking and put all the items together on one transaction. I was planning on using the Catalinas that printed out for the huggies towards it. So after the whole ordeal, I went over to customer service to see if I can return and buy the sodas again using the Catalinas. It stated one coupon per purchase, but as you know it was also one of those $5 off and $7 off your next shopping trip as well. Safeway employees told me that a purchase and a transaction is considered the same for all coupons, then contradicted themselves when they allow multiple manufacturer coupons on one transaction. I’m a bit confused on the matter. Any thoughts? They also brought up that they would not accept both since it was high value coupon and I do understand it is to the discretion of the store’s manager. I just find it very peculiar when they referenced a policy that they themselves do not understand.

Bummer Kathy. It happens where the managers and employees aren’t familiar with policy. They will just abide by what corporate tells them. Which can sometimes be contradictory.

Limit one per purchase means that you cannot use more than one coupon on every unit of product you buy. Limit one per “purchase” is not the same thing as limit per “transaction”. If the limit is one per transaction, then it will say so on the coupon.

Maybe if you explain it like this to them they will have a better understanding. You can always call corporate too while at customer service for a better understanding.

        Hope this helps!

What zipcode do you use for 3 off? Mine only shows 2 off and my coupons in 4/12 are only for $1.50
