With these types of coupons where the cost is more than the coupon I like to combine them with another purchase because it will take the discount from the total amount instead of just the product, just a tip I wanted to share that’s worked w/ me so far =)
What a great tip. Thanks for sharing Cristal. I know a lot of people have issues when the coupon is more than the item. This will help them out. 🙂
Thanks so much Tina ! I had a very bad experience the other day with a manager who told me I was committing coupon fraud . It was awful ! Hopefully this will clear the air next time I’m in the store !
Oh no. So sorry to hear that. It’s not coupon fraud at all. It’s written in their own policy. Hope you have a better experience this week. 🙂
I’ve attempted this RiteAid deal with a different product (similar method) and because the coupons are more than the cost of the product they will not let me use both . Claim that it is coupon fraud . How are you getting these products for free with that method 3.50 – 1.00 – 3.00 = -.50
Hey. Rite Aid’s coupon policy is that they will adjust the value of the coupon down to the sales price of the item. I would bring a copy of the policy with you to show them if they don’t allow it. You can find their policy here: https://www.riteaid.com/customer-support/coupon-acceptance-policy
