When I tried to do this deal at my local Walgreens, I was told by the cashier that I was limited to one TOTAL coupon per transaction because “the store wouldn’t receive redemption if more than one is used.” Apparently this rule has been in affect “for a while”, even though I had been in the SAME store (and another store close by) to do a deal three days before involving five coupons with no problem or mention of this new couponing rule.
I’ve always hated couponing at Walgreens, but this puts nails in the coffin for me.
Hi Lisa. I’m so sorry to hear that. Unfortunatly managers and cashiers make up their own rules sometimes. I always keep a copy of their coupon policy with me for situations like this. Hope that helps. 🙂
