Where’s the savingstar for the shampoo and conditioner? Is it regional?
Hey Amanda. I activated my offer awhile ago. It may not be available to add anymore. 🙁
When I tried to get this deal at a Target in Denver they informed me that they recently had a coupon policy change in which coupons can’t be put towards items that are eligible for the five dollar gift cards. So I either had to use my coupons or get the $5 gift card. I’m not sure if that is soon to be universal, or just in Denver, but I checked with various personnel and then called three other stores in the area and they all confirmed. Bummer because this was such a deal!
Hi Kelsey. We’ve had several readers report the same thing, but I haven’t seen an official policy change yet. I’ll have to look into this more. 🙂
This would be horrible! I’d just go back to shopping at Walmart if they did this. :\
I agree. I think they would lose a lot of shoppers if they started doing this. 🙁
Target changed the price on the Dove shampoo. I have been to 2 stores and the cheapest ones were $3.52 and $3.49. They did the same thing on the Tresemme shampoos awhile back from $2.49 to $4.99. I’m going to check a couple more stores but I doubt if I will find the Dove for $2.48…..
Oh no. I noticed that they had changed the price of the Pantene at my store a few weeks ago as well. Hopefully you can find it at a great price. 🙂
Hi Tina,
Thanks for all the help. You are great!! Just a few quick questions. The Dove shampoo/cond. deal for this week that should be a money maker. I can not find that coupon anywhere?? The $3/2 from RP 1/3. I also can not find the Colgate 360 Brush coupon for $1.50/1 from SS 1/3. Will this vary by location or something??
Hi April. Coupons are regional and they do vary by location. There were 2 Red Plum inserts that came on Sunday. Did you make sure to check both of them? You can always order coupons online if you don’t get them in your inserts. Hope that helps. 🙂
They are not the same price in TN..
Hi Chelsey. Unfortunately prices vary by store. Hope you can still get some great deals with the coupons though. 🙂
The target gift cards are given in that purchase but aren’t allowed to be used in the same transaction. So an individual would have to pay the difference after using the coupons. The gift card can be used next transaction.
Hey Briana. Thanks so much for the tip. I really appreciate it. 🙂
Hi tina! 🙂 how do you get the red plum inserts?
Hey Karina. They come in the Sunday newspaper. I would check your local newspaper and see if they run any deals for couponers. 🙂
Yay! I also have a few (4-5) 1.00/1 dove hair care product target coupon peelies i found on some shampoos a few weeks back! So if i used 3 i would pay .92 cents and get back 5$! Could i use 4 and pay only tax? Amazing deal!
Hey Lisa. Sounds like you’ve found yourself an amazing deal. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
Hello, what is the dpci for the shampoo and/or conditioner? Tried doing research but could not find it.
Hey Tanesha. I’m not sure what the DCPI number is for these, but if you search them on Target’s website it shows the $5 gift card promo. 🙂
That’s number is good for you to check on brickseek.com if they have in stock in your area and you will see the prices in difference stores as well.
Hi Helen. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. 🙂
I just went and they are $4.99?
Hey Karla. Unfortunately prices vary by store. Did you make sure you were looking at the 12 oz bottles and not the bigger ones?
Sometimes I have noticed that the store pricing doesn’t match the shelf tag. I would always double check with the instore price scanner. I have also noticed not all stores will tag every item in a sale. I have been to 3 different stores and every store has different price points. You have to shop around.
Hey Laura. Thanks so much for all the great tips. I really appreciate the advice. 🙂
