Hi Tina. This was a no-go at my Target because anything under 3 fluid oz./100mL is considered travel size 🙁

      Kathy Householder :

Hi Tina – I tried to use the $3 coupon at Target for the 2.5 oz lotion as show in your picture. The register would not accept the coupon and I was told the 2.5 oz is considered travel size. Not sue if Target changed all their registers to identify travel sizes when using coupons but Indiana sure has. I then used it for a ladies saving cream… $3.97 and took $3.00 off. Nice shaving cream for $0.97.

Hi Tina!!! I went to Target and bought an Aveeno ($2.97) and try to use the coupon of $3 off. They said they could not accept it because the coupon exceeded the amount of the product. It happened with the Nivea ($0.94) too. Is this accurate? Thanks

Hi Kerstin! Target’s coupon policy allows for them to adjust the coupon value down to the item price so that it will result in a free product, but they do not allow for a moneymaker with a coupon. You can google Target Coupon Policy next time and print it or show from your phone in the store. Hope this helps!

        • I had same experience. I did have policy print out as you suggested but they said they are no longer able to to make override adjustments on coupons. If they don’t scan then doesn’t matter. I had a $1 Charmin coupon in the same order that wouldn’t scan and they would not accept. However after a chat with Target online customer service they gave me a gift card instead. They do have a statement that they have the right to refuse any coupon making it a YMMV. However it is not the rule everywhere and not every Target. Thanks Tina!
