• *NEW* CVS Coupon Policy (Changes & Updates)

    cvs-coupon-policy
CVS Shoppers! CVS updated their Official Coupon Policy on August 1st. You can check out their updated policy here to review the new changes, or print out a copy to carry with you. The coupon policy isn’t very different from the previous one, but I’ve outlined some interesting points below:

    CVS Policy Guidelines:

    • CVS reserves the right to process coupons in any order.
    • Coupons must be used on or before the expiration date
    • CVS has the right to refuse or limit the use of coupons.
    • CVS reserves the right to limit the amount of items you can buy.

No more mention of coupons with other store logos

It’s general knowledge that CVS will usually refuse any printable coupons with another store logo printed on it. Could this mean that coupons stating “redeemable at Walmart” or “Walgreens” are now accepted?

CVS coupons generally cannot be used on sale, promotional, or clearance items.

Does this mean CVS coupons can not be used on items featured in the weekly ad? Generally is a pretty loose term. My guess is it will it be up to the cashier to refuse or accept the coupon.

Percent-off coupons may be used on non-promo/non-sale items.

This guideline states that percent off coupons may be used on non-sale items, but what about sale items? There doesn’t seem to be an exclusion, but a cashier may refuse your percent off coupon on a sale item.

What do you think of these changes? Have you heard anything else about the new policy?
