Sam’s Club has an app that allows you to scan and pay for your purchases right from your iPhone or Android device! This is a game-changer for Sam’s Club shopping – I’d love to see this at other stores!
Here’s what to do:
- Click Here to Download the App for iOS or Click Here for Android
- Sign in with your Sam’s Club Account
- Add a payment method (Do this before you get to the store so you won’t need to fumble for your cards while pushing a cart)
- Head to Sam’s Club & shop your heart out
- As you’re shopping, scan the items as you add them to your cart
- No barcode? Use the “Find an Item” feature to look the item up instead
- Change your mind? Swipe left on any item in your mobile basket to remove it and add the item back to the shelf
- Grabbing more than one? Hold down on the item after scanning to edit the quantity
- When you’re ready, click to head to checkout
- Confirm your total and pay – A barcode will pop up as your e-receipt to show the greeter as you leave the store. Simply head to the door with your goodies and your barcode.
Most people head to Sam’s Club to really stock-up (we’re talking multiple carts and even rolling trolleys full of bulk goods), so the lines can get a little crazy. If you’d rather dash in to grab a few things that you know make a great deal, this is the perfect way to get in and out of the store quickly! Plus, you’ll know exactly how much you’re spending as you go when you use the Scan & Go app (Android Go Here) – no surprises at checkout!
Note that you cannot use the Scan & Go App (Android Go Here) if you’re going to spend more than $750 or purchase items such as alcoholic beverages, tobacco, jewelry, prescriptions or gift cards.
