Darn! You’re right. I missed that.
The thing I’ve noticed that dairy products (yogurts, ice cream) tend to have that statement on cartwheels. I think they have to do it legally.
However, if you are able to view and load the cartwheel offer in your account, the discount usually comes off automatically. I actually purchased this yesterday without even realizing and the cartwheel did come off. I load so many cartwheel offers when they show up in the morning as they first appear that they are in my account and I don’t think about it.
Anyway, I just checked now and it looks like if you are logged in to your target account from app or online, you can add it. It seems you can’t add it if you aren’t logged in.
Good call on checking before going to store too. That’s something I do. I’ll search products on Target.com to see if my local target carries it before I put it on my list. 🙂
