Valentine’s Day is a day set aside for us to show the ones we love just how much they mean to us. But this doesn’t mean we have to spend an extravagant amount of money. Many of us have lost sight of what exactly this day is all about. We find ourselves trying to out do our friends by getting the most expensive lavish gifts for our Valentine. Let’s bring it back down to reality with a few simple tips to having a love filled, meaningful Valentine’s Day.
The Gift that keeps on Giving
Put your creativity to work. Set aside some time to sit down and think of what your Valentine likes. Think of the things they enjoy doing for fun. Maybe it’s spending time with you playing a round of miniature golf.
Perhaps, enjoying a glass of wine after a long day of work. Possibly a day off from cleaning the house. Or even a romantic candlelit massage from you.
Whatever it may be…write them down. Make your own Valentine’s Day booklet of coupons/vouchers. Be creative on your delivery…maybe put it under their cup of coffee in the morning with a simple piece of chocolate. Let them know they can redeem each coupon any time of the year they want to. So be careful…don’t put things on the coupons that you are not willing to do on a moments notice. Need a template for your coupons? Visit us on Pinterest for more ideas.

Romance & Spontaneity
One thing women (and men) love the most is being spontaneous. Why not surprise your Valentine with a Romantic dinner. Send them an invite created by you for a special dinner. Tell them to show up to dinner dressed to the nine’s, complete with their favorite fragrance. Prepare a meal for them.
If you don’t cook or are short on time…put out some plates, order food from their favorite restaurant off of the “to go” menu, light some candles and voila! Dinner is served.
For dessert pour some champagne or bubbly beverage of some kind and share a piece of cheesecake. Afterwards, ask your Valentine if you can have a dance. Put on some music and dance the night away. Holding each other close, remembering why you fell in love. This will for sure spark your love in an undying way. Do a little snuggling on the sofa and watch a romantic movie via Netflix it will all remind you of how much you love eachother.
Say “I LOVE YOU”
Most importantly…Say “I Love You” to your Valentine not just once during the day…But rather throughout the day. Whether it be through a voice message, text, email, facebook, or even twitter. All too often we find ourselves getting wrapped up in life and we don’t say, “I Love You” enough. Saying “I Love You” will guarantee your Valentines heart to remain full all day long. And of course, it’s 100% FREE!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
