Note: Most inventory checkers will be inaccurate. I learned this after making the Live video on Instagram on Saturday. People were sending me messages saying they found them in stores for 69¢ even tho inventory checker said $2.79 price.

• TIP #1: I’ve included the DPCI number and a link to a Barcode Image for each item. What you can do is to scan the barcode image at your store to see if they ring up 69¢. Then get an associate to help you locate it if they are all out on the shelves.  Note that they will list them as $2.79 online, from Target app scanner, and brickseek for most locations. Check using scanners in your store.
  • You can also call your store and read the DPCI number for them to do a price check in stores.
• TIP #2: If these can’t be found in the regular stationary section of the store, be sure to check the Back to School section in the back of the store. They might be in the yellow box display instead of on a peg.
• TIP #3: If they are empty on shelves or in the back to school section, ask an associate to help you locate more in the back. My store had none out, but they had several hundred in the back.

NOTE: If the Washable Kind is sold out, here are some alternatives I spotted. The Classic Regular Markers are also 99¢. Plus Up&Up brand also significantly lowered their prices.
